Yoga, Sanskrit for ‘yoking’ or ‘union’, is an ancient Indian practice for the purpose of uniting the mind, body and spirit. Through a series of poses or 'asanas', each of which has specific physical benefits, the body becomes flexible and strong, allowing a free flow of life energy and clarity of mind. 

The centre currently offers Hatha Yoga & Vinyasa Flow.

MON + THURS YOGA WITH RACHAEL @ 6PM • 75 - 90 MINUTES
TUE + FRI YOGA WITH ANNA @ 9AM • 75 - 90 MINUTES

 

PILATES

Pilates was established by German born Joseph Pilates in the 1920’s. It is a system of exercises and controlled movements (which he called ‘contrology’) that assist to develop control and endurance in the human body. Similarly to Yoga, it puts emphasis on alignment, breathing and often incorporates the use of equipment such as exercise balls and elastics.

Litsa is our resident Pilates instructor and Aerial Yoga teacher. Her classes are conducted in English, however she also speaks French and Greek. She is also fully qualified in pre and post natal Pilates.

PILATES CLASSES WILL BE AVAILABLE AGAIN NEXT SPRING.
