Yoga, Sanskrit for ‘yoking’ or ‘union’, is an Ancient Indian practice for the purpose of uniting the mind, body and spirit. Through a series of poses or 'asanas', each of which has specific physical benefits, the body becomes flexible and strong, allowing a free flow of life energy and clarity of mind. Pranayama, meditation, visualisation and chanting are also practiced as vital part of this union.
